How to install a wallpaper

Everything happens in the device web UI, in the Layout editor. Backgrounds are set per screen — Home, Radio, SD Player, Playlist, Bluetooth, Equalizer — so start by selecting that screen's tab. You do not need to download anything from this page: the device can fetch a wallpaper by itself.

The easy way — straight from this gallery

No SD card required. One click.

  1. Open Layout editor and select the screen you want to change.
  2. Under the preview, click Online gallery — it shows the wallpapers published for your panel and that screen.
  3. At the top, set Use in slot: to a slot number (slot 1 is fine).
  4. Press Use in slot on the wallpaper you like. The device downloads it and shows it immediately.

Your own picture or URL

Two steps — this is where most people stop too early.

  1. Go to the 🌍 Internet tab, pick a Slot, enter an image URL and press Fetch now. A thumbnail confirms the slot is filled.
  2. Go back to the screen's tab and press Internet with the same slot selected — only now does that screen use it.
  3. For a file instead of a URL, use ⬆ Upload… on the screen's tab: the browser converts any PNG/JPG/WebP and stores it on the SD card.

Nothing changed after fetching? The screen is still set to General or to an SD file — an SD wallpaper always outranks a fetched one. Press Internet on that screen.
Wallpaper gone after a power cycle? Fetched wallpapers live in RAM. Set Auto refresh on the Internet tab to Once after boot (the warning strip in the web UI does it in one click), or use Save to SD.
Fetching refused? The device decodes JPEG only — for a PNG or WebP card use Install to SD instead of Use in slot. Each download briefly pauses a playing radio stream.
